"Quality music for years to come"

We just got this great review!

"There are two types of maverick artists: the ones who adopt different styles as a way of switching costumes, and the ones who take a variety of musical concepts and subvert them wholly to their own ideas, and their own identities. “Grieve The Astronaut,” is clearly the latter. This band is an amazing cornucopia of musical genius! I had the pleasure of listening to their self titled debut album, “Grieve The Astronaut,” and I was more than pleased. The aptly titled introduction, a beautiful piece called, “The Law of Jante Overture,” is a refreshing glass of water in music’s otherwise cottonmouth society. Eight minutes of intoxicatingly passionate melodic patterns, chords, and traditional tempos draw the listener in and charm your musical ear into musical submission. A clear stand out track, “Hands Of A Child,” is an emotional roller coaster, from the piano driven intro to the climatic pop filled bridge, the opening is perfection. “A Million Hands,” is a melodic track dominated by strong piano chords coupled with exceptional vocal melodies providing accessible and dynamic tones while utilizing minimal classic pop patterns throughout the verses. “Mystic Rhythm,” another stand out with its smooth flow and nostalgic feel, seems to seamlessly pull you into a story line, there’s a slight stream of consciousness in the lyrical delivery provided by the lead which only enhances the classic sound. “Loss of Innocence,” “Twilight,” and “Red Door to Nowhere,” only enhances the already solid project. “Grieve the Astronaut,” incorporates elements of classical, pop, and even a slight hint of rhythm and blues while remaining rooted deeply in originality. If this project is at all a hint of what’s to come from the band, then I expect to hear quality music for years to come."
