GTA would like to thank Fred Frohmader for being our very first ASTRONAUT SPACE CLUB member! Fred and his family...Vilma, Nicholas and Caitlin are all huge supporters of the local music scene. Fred is the poppa bear who leads this family of music lovers and...a drummer himself. The way in which he attends shows, buys tickets ahead of time, purchases merchandise, brings friends to shows and introduces them to all of us, etc...its just blows us away and we couldn't do it without the type of sincere love of what we do.
THANK YOU FRED! GTA would like to thank Sam for her beautiful, kind words and support towards our vision. Sam is a huge music lover and truly supports local music. Sam is also one of two Leaders of Stop Abuse Campaign in Washington State working hard to pass the Safe Child Act. Fans (women) like this truly make a difference in our community and world. THANK YOU SAM!
Kimmy Fix is a new fan to GRIEVE THE ASTRONAUT. Here is a nice note from her about our band:
"A few weeks ago, I was at a show, and because of photos I took, kind of met Raymond Hayden... He plays keyboards, and we chatted about that online (I took piano lessons for 9 years). Like most of the musicians I know, he is in more than one band. The band I'm sharing with YOU is Grieve The Astronaut (page link in comments). Raymond shared this video with me earlier, since I have not seen them live yet. After watching the video, I sent him this message - "So, I hope you take this as a huge compliment, because it is intended to be... As much as I love my hard rock, metal, and grunge, Pink Floyd IS my love. As soon as I started watching the video you sent, I started to relax and get into that zone I go to when I listen to Pink Floyd (or David Gilmour). Grieve The Astronaut is exactly why I love music. I could probably just put it on continuous repeat and have it as my soundtrack for days. I am SO glad I got to see Limberlost... And in turn have gotten to "meet" you and be introduced to everything you are doing." PLEASE find him, his music, and his bands here and on the interwebs. I will post links in comments. It's weird to be "a cool kid" for the first time in my life (almost 49 years), and it's because of THE MUSIC. Even if I hadn't accidentally become part of the local music scene, I'd STILL be supporting local bands. Music is life! ❤" It is fans/friends like this that fuel the fire of our combined passion as artists. Thank you Kimmy and we encourage you to tinkle the ivories once again. Love, Raymond, Calissa, Taylor and Ben Brian is a new friend and fan to Grieve the Astronaut. I was fortunate enough to meet him in 2017 when LIMBERLOST was performing on FOX 28 TV and Cruisers in Stateline. He works with GM Cook Entertainment, loves music and is a graphic designer. He created these images below for GTA and can help you as well if you are an artist looking to enhance your brand with creativity and imagination. You can get a hold of him at the following email: [email protected]
Cindy has been a friend of the visionary behind GTA (Raymond Hayden) for nearly 15 years. She is normally a country music fan, but has made an exception for us and not only takes care of us when we are in town with a dwelling to stay at but, STELLLLAA! Thats beer to y'all! She is one of the sweetest people we know and gives so much. We just wanted the world to see the face of love, support, encouragement and friendship! Thank you Cindy for all that you do for local artists! We love you!
~Love, Raymond, Calissa, Ben, Taylor, Mike, Mack and Jess' What can we say about this beautiful woman? Hmmm....LOTS!!!! Susan is an amazing soul who supports all music...locally, nationally, internationalyl, etc... She walks the talk and purchases tickets, music, merchandise and even has her own blog: SUSAN IN SEATTLE on this website!
Susan is a sincere woman who's love for music is infectious. Her smile says it all! She is involved with attending shows, running merchandise for Jessica Lynne and the Cousins, blogging (SUSAN IN SEATTLE) and consistently supporting those who display effort towards their dreams. She posts support daily on social media and has no idea how much her words resonate and encourage those of us who are bold enough to take a chance on dreaming. Thank you Susan! We love you and support YOUR dreams! Love, Raymond, Cali, Taylor (aka Gaylord Von Uphigh), Ben Beman and Mikey Burt Terry is a huge music fan. His favorite band is YES and of course, progressive rock is his favorite genre. He, himself, is a keyboardist and most people don't know this...I bet he is good! Although we are a bit biased, as he is a good friend, he is an amazing supporter of what Grieve the Astronaut does and we are super appreciative. He bought VIP tickets to the last event and did again to this event with his beautiful wife, Debbie. Having fans is an amazing thing...when they are your friends as well....its powerful!
Thank you Terry for supporting our debut album as a huge contributor and for coming to our shows and sharing what we do with the social media world! Love, Raymond, Cali, Ben, Taylor "Gaylord Von Uphigh" and Mikey Troyann is a huge music fan and has always been encouraging. She is a new fan to Grieve the Astronaut and continues to follow our status and inquire about new shows and events. Her enthusiasm for our vision is beyond reproach and continues to shine a light on our dreams...we love you!
Love, Raymond, Cali, Ben, Taylor & Mikey (aka Bam Bam) Steve Sherman is a good friend and super fan of Grieve the Astronaut. From the beginning, Steve has expressed his love for our vision and music. After our initial CD Release party a year back, his only comment has been..."I've been listening to your CD and just love it, when, WHEN is your next show?"
He has his own business, Plane Junkie: http://planejunkie.com/ (Aviation Collectibles) After finding the excitement of flying in 1978, I went on to pursue a Graphic Arts degree and started looking for a job. The opportunity arose to combine my two favorite things and this business is the result of these two passions coming together. Airplane Collectibles and Art... unbelievable!! Throughout the years we've had the chance to work with some of the best artists in the world along with some great pilots and crewman. What a great job! Hopefully this excitement will come across as you shop the site and enjoy the great art, videos and unique collectibles we've searched far and wide to bring to you. I hope you enjoy yourself just as we did when we put this store together. Safe flying and hopefully we'll see you at one of the airshows around the country. Steve is now our official sponsor and we are humbled by his sincere appreciation of our vision. Thank you Steve! Raymond, Cali, Ben, Taylor & Mikey |
